The images in Dream Land were made on the southeast coast of England, with the majority of the workcreated in and around the town of Margate between 2021 and 2025. The series departs from literal depiction to explore a more lyrical, subjective realism, where images surface like fragments from a daydream — momentary, lucid, and uncertain — suggesting that to photograph is to inhabit the shifting tides between waking and sleeping, between what is seen and what is felt. The images acts as the bridge between these two worlds, recording the quiet drift where reality touches imagination.
